The following photos show some of the festivities for the 2012 Sunday School Christmas play and craft faire.

It has been a joyous time at United for Advent/Christmas 2012!

Joint Homeless Breakfast Program

United has joined with the people of Episcopal Church of the Resurrection to serve homeless people breakfast on the second Sunday of each month at First Christian Church.  This is a great instance of people coming together from different traditions to help others.  It is worthwhile and fun at the same time.  The photos were taken on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 by Denise Wendt.

Lutheran World Relief school and hygiene kit ingathering

The following link is to a short video showing the group which assembled the school and hygiene kits for fall 2012.  They will be shipped to Lutheran World Relief (LWR) which will in turn get them to families and children who need them.

South Sister hike- August 25

We left the trail head about 8:45 a.m.

This is the crew which hiked to the top of South Sister.  Sue and Gay hiked around Green Lake.
